Exhibition
Jason REVOK, Paul Verdell, and Jamea Richmond-Edwards
Mar 13 – Jun 6, 2026
Three solo exhibitions featuring artists based in Detroit, MI. Jason REVOK presents a bold exploration of process, authorship, and abstraction, transforming the ingenuity of his graffiti roots into a refined studio practice that blends modest materials, industrial tools, and human imperfection.
Paul Verdell creates luminous, instinctive paintings that merge bold color with gestural mark-making, reflecting both his Black American heritage and his search for self-understanding within a shifting world. Rooted in process and experimentation, his works reveal a dynamic dialogue between material, gesture, and identity.
Jamea Richmond-Edwards: Leviathan is a poetic video work that intertwines mythology, Afrofuturism, and magical realism to explore her family’s migration to Detroit and the city’s layered histories. Infused with movement, music, and a deep sense of place, the work reflects on enduring connections between people, land, and imagined worlds.
