Featuring a room-sized installation that explores police brutality through “kneelers” created with reclaimed wood sculptures. In the tradition of African Folk Art prayer, the kneelers metaphorically connect Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling protests and the fatal action in the murder of George Floyd.
