This important and historic day is an annual commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States post-Civil War. This day has been celebrated by African Americans since the late 1800s.

The Co recognizes and supports Juneteenth, and deeply appreciates the art by black artists working across media. We are proud to celebrate the unique diversity represented in our region’s black community.
